Ingredients for This Tropical Turmeric Smoothie

Frozen mango and pineapple. When it comes to flavor, each of these fruits yields a sweet, tropical vibe. As for nutrition, mango and pineapple are rich in antioxidants and can aid digestion, plus help keep your skin glowing throughout the summer and beyond.

Kiwi. If kiwi isn’t a regular fruit in your diet, make it happen! They’re an excellent source of vitamin C as well as fiber, potassium, and folate.

Turmeric. The holy grail of superfoods. It’s known to decrease inflammation, reduce pain, and fight free radicals thanks to its antioxidant properties.

Ginger. Like turmeric, ginger is packed with antioxidants and boasts powerful anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties.

Ground flax. High in omega-3 fatty acids, protein, and fiber, ground flax is a delicious addition to not only smoothies, but oatmeal and yogurt bowls as well.

Greek yogurt. It’s one of the most delicious plant-based ways to pack your meal with protein while giving your smoothie a nice, creamy texture.

Alternative milk. Almond, coconut, or hemp works best here. Add as much or as little as you’d like to reach your desired consistency.
