We roast a bird + breast (leftovers), and make bourbon sweet potatoes, sausage/apple dressing, southern cornbread dressing, mashed potatoes, baked corn, green beans w/hazelnuts & cranberry sauce & rolls. Also pumpkin and pecan pie for dessert. We’re making all this, even with just 4 of us this year cause I can’t imagine leaving anything out! Happy Thanksgiving!

Such a great way to pare down the endless sides in a way that makes sense. I would only add cranberry sauce.

We usually go out but our favorite place closed. We are not sure how the turkey is going to go since neither of us have ever cooked a big bird. Menu is Turkey – Mashed Potatoes w/ sage browned butter poured over- stuffing (Williams Sonoma boxed French bread) – deviled eggs- Brussels sprouts – 2 kinds of cranberry sauce. Dessert is my friends homemade Pumpkin roll and an apple pie with ice cream. This year is all about spending time with each other.

You cannot go wrong!! If there’s one woman who does Thanksgiving right… Okay, maybe tied w/ Ina Garten. 😉 Let us know how it goes! xo

I saved a Martha menu from her Thanksgiving issue a few years back and I’m making the whole thing this year for our small family gathering. Love your concept and the recipes!
